ABOUT
KENNY

After High School, he attended Drury University and realized his true calling was in entertainment. He ventured to Chicago, Illinois and began a successful run in the world of stand-up comedy.

From 2009, his achievements included appearing on two late night programs (Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Late Show with James Corden) acting on HBO’s “Crashing”, Tru Tv’s “Friends of the People,” and a host of comedic star turns on Comedy Central programs. Kenny has released two comedy specials “B.A.D. Dreams” and “Don't You Know Who I Am,” both available on all streaming platforms and YouTube.

His career had a swift uprise when he, alongside friends and fellow comedians, Will Miles and Clark Jones, successfully hosted and produced,  “Comedy at the Knitting Factory,” which was handed down to them by comedian Hannibal Buress in 2014.

Make no mistake, Kenny was a Springfield boy through and through. In 2010, he started “Truckload o’ Comics” where he would drive comedians from Chicago to perform in Springfield. He brought comedy stars such as Nikki Glazer and Sasheer Zamata to perform at the Gillioz Theater. This move not only bonded the world of stand-up comedy to his hometown of Springfield, but led to the birth of the highly successful Blue Room Comedy club, where Kenny was a regular performer.

On December 13, 2023, Kenny’s life on earth was tragically cut short five days after a tragic bicycle accident. Because he elected to be an organ donor, his remains were gifted to five separate families during the holiday season. #belikekenny
